About Us

Brown Agri solutions has been born from the passion that Fin & Conor have for agriculture and mechanical services, both have been through the mainline dealership scene.

 Conor completed a trade through Class harvest Center in Ashburton and Fin completed his apprenticeship with a John Deere dealer in the UK at the age of 16.

Fin completed his 4 year trade and then went on to specialize in John Deere precision ag equipment and Grimme vegetable equipment, then moving to Australia in 2012 with now wife Anna and working for the John Deere dealer AFGRI Equipment Australia as a mechanic and precision Ag specialist for multiple branches, then going onto take a sales role and successfully going on to become a key account manager and winning Large Ag salesman of the year in 2022 out of 19 branches across Western Australia.

Conor moved to Western Australia in 2017 and met his now wife Erika then migrated to Canterbury in 2020 and completed an apprenticeship with Claas then started CSB mechanical services that has become a successful business covering the Selwyn district and beyond.

 Fin and family decided that the small country town in WA had run its course and looked at moving to Canterbury with a couple of recon missions they decided to make the move and join forces with Conor.

 We are now providing every service an agricultural company would need from mechanical services to machinery brokerage and sourcing with our passion and years of experience we understand what is needed in Ag with exceptional service and support.

Harvesting

Our Story

We are two families, Fin & Anna with daughters Sophie & Evie and Conor & Erika with daughter Pippa and son Saxon. We joined forces to become Brown Agri Solutions, with Fin & Conor, brothers born in rural south west Devon England.

 

Fin met Anna in her hometown of Uttoxeter where he lived whilst completing his apprenticeship with John Deere dealer Rea Valley tractors.

Fin & Anna moved to Western Australia in 2012 where they worked for John Deere dealer AFGRI Equipment, their first daughter Sophie was born in 2015 and second daughter Evie in 2019, they all migrated to Canterbury NZ in 2024. 

 

Conor completed a BTEC in Agriculture at Moulton college in Northamptonshire, England. 

He worked on farms across Leicestershire & Derbyshire , gaining experience from muck spreading to potato harvesting.

Conor decided to go and see what the farming scene was like in Australia spending a working holiday in Western Australia living in the small rural town of Carnamah where Anna & Fin also lived, Conor met Erika whilst working on a farm in Carnamah and went on to have daughter Pippa in 2017 then migrated to Selwyn Canterbury NZ in 2018 where Erika originated from they went on to have their second child Saxon in 2020.
